Our Purpose

Hands 2 Hand Resource Program is a nonprofit corporation and shall be operated exclusively for offering resources and mentoring services within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. Hands 2 Hand Resource  Program’s purpose is to address, support, educate and mentor. We provide education by giving lectures, workshops, parenting and life skill classes within our program, in schools, libraries, and other public venues as well as utilizing outside resources, social media channels and the organization's website to empower parenting youth. Our programs include connecting mentors to raise social consciousness about the cause on a local and national level, and to hold fundraising events in order to provide immediate relief, housing and assistance to parenting youth experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness regardless of their race, ethnicity, or religion. To maximize our impact on current efforts, we may seek to collaborate with other nonprofit organizations which fall under the 501(c) (3) section of the internal revenue code and are operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes. At times, per the discretion of the board of directors, we may provide internships or volunteer opportunities which shall provide opportunities for involvement in said activities and programs in order to have a greater impact for change.

Our Mission is to assist parenting youth with resources, tools and skills to become productive, nurturing, and empowering parents, and transition them into the community with the support mentors to become leaders for the next generation of parenting youth.

The Objective

Objective:
Hands 2 Hand Resource Program and community partners see the urgent need to offer parenting youth the opportunities and resources for pregnancy and parenting assistance using culturally competent resources and services. The program will enable expectant and parenting teens to successfully meet their parenting goals and aims to minimize and/or eliminate barriers for parenting youth as they strive to complete high school, post-secondary education and provide a developmentally safe and healthy environment.
